The Old World Village Annual Octoberfest
 Ongoing known events here in Old World consist of the world famous OKTOBERFEST mid September through the end of October. Our Oktoberfest features live bands directly from Germany; Oktoberfest is held every Wednesday through Sunday. Every Sunday is Kinderfest (Family Day, fun for the entire family). Our motto is Eat, Drink, Dance and be Merry. WIENER DOG RACES  The other strong standing staple event is the wacky Dachshund Races, come see these short-legged but wiener dogs race to the finish line held every month and on special festival celebrations.
